An appeal to Nova Scotia Supreme Court asking for the release of more government information on the Highway 103 connector will go ahead, though the route has been chosen, says project opponent Sean Kirby.
The Ingramport resident filed the appeal July 18 after the Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal Department’s refusal to release full versions of documents requested under the province’s freedom of information law.
Kirby said Thursday he’ll persevere, shortly after Transportation Minister Bill Estabrooks announced the decision on a route for the connector, which will mean the relocation of a 147-year-old house.
